Bats - humane exclusion

Get the bats out and keep them out.

Bats in an attic are a protected-species problem, not a pest you can spray. We inspect, install one-way exclusion that lets them leave but not return, seal the entry points with branded exclusion products, and clean up the guano they leave behind.

How bat work runs.

Bats are protected and there are seasons when exclusion is not allowed, so timing and method matter as much as the work itself.

01

Inspection and entry mapping

Find the roost, the entry points, and the staining and guano that mark active access. We confirm whether you are inside a maternity-season window when exclusion has to wait.

02

One-way exclusion

Install one-way devices that let bats leave to feed but not re-enter, so the colony clears itself without harm over a few nights.

03

Seal and clean up

Seal every entry with branded exclusion products built for the job, then handle guano cleanup and attic remediation so the contamination is gone, not painted over.

What's in the bat scope.

Virginia bats are protected and play a real role in insect control, so the work is exclusion and prevention, never extermination. Maternity season closes the exclusion window because sealing out adults would trap flightless pups inside.

This is part of our full wildlife removal and exclusion program. Damage repair and cleanup run through home repair and attic insulation.

Bat questions, answered.

Can you remove the bats today?

Not with a net and a box. Bats are protected, and the humane and legal method is one-way exclusion over several nights so the colony leaves on its own. We also check whether you are in maternity season, when exclusion has to wait so pups are not trapped inside.

Is bat guano dangerous?

It can be. Accumulated guano can harbor a fungus linked to respiratory illness and it soaks into insulation and drywall. Cleanup and remediation are part of the job, not an upsell after the fact.

How are the entry points sealed?

With branded exclusion products matched to each gap - ridge, soffit, gable, and utility penetrations. We do the work so it holds and so the structure does not look patched together.

Will the bats come back?

Not through sealed entries. Bats are persistent, so the exclusion is only as good as the sealing, which is the part we do not cut short.
